For Energy Production you need three things:

Power Source:

• solar volataic modules
• windmills
• hydropower mills
• diesel/gas/propane generators

Energy Storage:

• Batteries- 12 volts or 24 volts
• Charge control module-prevents overcharge of the batteries
• Fuses & Circuit Breakers

Energy Conditioning:

• Battery Charger
• Inverter-changes battery power to 120 volts DC to run appliances
• Transfer Relay switches power from diferent sources
