June 14 SunSET in Florida : 25 minutes EARLY

I was out at the Bay last night observing the Sunset and I noticed that the Sun fell below the ecliptic at around 8:15 ET when normally it should be around 8:40 ET. Consequently it did not get totally dark until 9:25 last night. Knowing that it is almost the Summer Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere the days should be getting longer not shorter.

We put several high noon markers in place, which with DST is 1:00 PM when the Sun is directly overhead, and this matches what SkyMap is showing us. No delay at noon from June 13th when the markers were placed.
